Nakagawa Hiroaki is the 11th generation head of Takemata Nakagawa Bamboo Store, a company that has grown alongside the history of Kyoto.
While inheriting the aesthetics of bamboo that underpinned the sukiya architecture and tea ceremony culture beloved by Sen no Rikyu, we are elevating its possibilities to modern expression.
