Yotokuin, a temple of the Rinzai sect of Myoshinji Temple, Ittoku Yokoe

Let silence be "food for the soul" for people living in modern times.
Yokoe Ittoku is the deputy chief priest of Yotokuin, a sub-temple of the Rinzai sect of Myoshinji Temple.
He completed two years and three months of intense training at the specialized training hall of Kenninji Temple, a famous temple in Kyoto.
The Zen spirit, honed in that silence, has now been sublimated into wisdom that can harmonize the minds of people living in modern society.
Yokoe's activities are not limited to the temple.
Through vegetarian cuisine and a variety of events, the teachings of Zen are communicated as an experience to be enjoyed with all five senses.
Furthermore, as a religious studies instructor at Hanazono Junior and Senior High School, I work with the younger generation, and I devote myself to my studies every day, sincerely hoping to create a world in which they can listen to their own inner voice and speak freely.
"Zen is everyday life itself"
Yokoe's ink paintings and Zen phrases combine the "spirit" he gained through rigorous training with the "compassion" that sympathizes with the suffering of modern people.
Yokoe's every line and stroke will infuse your home with a sense of peace that makes you feel like you're "placed in a temple," as well as the vitality to live for tomorrow.
